Making breakfast can be hard: getting up early enough, preparing the ingredients, making sure you're caffeinated. Sometimes you may skip breakfast altogether! The older I get, the more I realize how important (and delicious) a good breakfast is.

Take skillets for example. You can basically put anything you want in them + eggs, and they come out perfect. You can get all the main components of a good breakfast including protein, carbs, and veggies in one single dish.

This skillet recipe is fairly simple as far as skillets go. Instead of whole potatoes, we're using frozen hashbrowns. It mainly centers around the garden herbs. If you don't have a garden, try sneaking into your neighbor's! I'm sure they won't mind.

Quick Note

You can make this recipe without meat. Just disregard step 1.
